Joshua Jinu is a Melbourne/Naarm based artist specialising in animation, illustration and comics. Graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation, they have an interest in multidisciplinary storytelling. At the heart of their artistic practice is a focus on personal experience, with their works revolving around queer experiences, the beauty of mundanity and vignettes of human emotion.

Josh has created works exhibited at the Melbourne Science Gallery, Federation Square and the Scienceworks Planetarium. They also have experience in both animated and virtual productions. Recently, they participated in CTN’s 2025 ICEP South Korea Program, taking part in Chungkang College of Cultural Industry’s ‘CK International Animation Workshop’ under the tutelage of Mike Nguyen.
